Simple Pleasures: Rustic Restaurant

We had lunch today at the Old Ferry Inn. The Ferry sits on the end of Chepstow’s little peninsula, hidden underneath the shadow of the Severn Bridge. It’s romantic and rustic, with mismatched vintage chairs and a sea-side feel.

“Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s about learning to dance in the rain.”

I wish I’d brought a proper camera, but snapped what I could before the food arrived. But that’s what really makes for satisfaction, isn’t it? The little things?

It’s two weeks now until we leave Chepstow, and I will miss it. It’s been my first home in the UK. It’s been my first home with my husband. Since last April, it’s been plain old home. But life moves on, and more adventures await!

What have you enjoyed today?
